IPSWICH WINTER 2010 - COMPETITION INFORMATION

Competition Dates – 14th April, 2010 to 11th August, 2010.  Please note no games will be played on each of the State of Origin nights.

  • Game Times - Wed nights between 6.15 and 8.30pm.
  • Location – Woodend Park, 133 Woodend Rd, Woodend.
  • Competition Costs - $85/player (min 10 players).  

If paid before competition start date a $5/player discount will apply.  There will no longer be any team registration payments at any competition.
 
Team Deposit – For your team to be placed in draws you must have 6 players individually registered by 8th April.

Team Registration

  • Step 1 - Team delegate completes team rego form linked at the bottom of the page where he/she must put in their own information and the names of all intending team members. 
    Special note – if 12 or more players register the team delegate will be refunded their individual registration.
  • Step 2 – You must have 6 players individually registered by the 8th April.

Individual Registration

  • Option 1 – We have an online registration service where you can pay by credit card. 
  • Option 2 - In person at the registration nights on  24th March and 7th April at the club house at Woodend Park from 6pm - 8pm.
  • Option 3 – In person during the first 3 weeks of the competition at the registration desk.

     
  • A $5 discount applies to individual registrations paid by options 1 and 2.
  • Price reverts to $85.00 Between Rounds 1 & 4
  • Price if paid after Round 4 - $95.00

Registration Nights As previously stated registration nights will be the 24th March and 7th April at Woodend Park. 

Divisions – Men’s, Mixed, Women’s

Australian Oztag Association Registration - All players will be responsible for an individual registration of $5 which is to register with the Australian Association.

Shorts - Shorts cost $22 each and you must wear official Oztag shorts to participate in any Qld Oztag competition.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Competition Guidelines:

  1. Registration forms must be completed in full and signed by round 4 (incl rego numbers).  Full payment must be paid on or before round 4 NO EXCEPTIONS. Teams will not be able to play the next round .Your opposition in Round 5 will be notified next day that they have received a forfeit.
  2. Every player must sign sign on sheets before the game commences each week.  Any players that don’t sign on are not covered by insurance.  If a minimum of 5 players don’t sign on your team will forfeit the game.
  3. Players must have signed on for at least 5 games to qualify to play in Semi Finals.
  4. All injuries must be reported on the night of the injury.
  5. Any shorts or tights that are worn must be the official Oztag garments (no home made shorts or tights).  Players are not allowed to take the field if regulation shorts or tights are not worn.
  6. There will be no talking to the referee at all unless you are the captain.  This includes sledging of the opposition or of your own teams.  This is a major offence and may result in a player or team being sent off or banned.
  7. No football boots with screw in studs (metal, nylon or spikes) are permitted.
  8. Photographs of players may appear on our website or in publicity campaigns, should you not want your photograph to appear then you must contact us prior to registering.
  9. All teams must be playing in the same colour shirt by round 4.  Numbers must also be visible on the back or sleeve of these shirts.
  10. Any player fighting will be given 8 weeks minimum and their team will be given one week suspension.
  11. Any player found guilty of racial vilification will receive a minimum suspension of 8 weeks and will be suspended permanently for a second offence from playing in any Queensland Oztag competition.
  12. The competition reserves the right to regrade any team at anytime.

Some teams may be re-graded after round 4.
