HICKEY PARK SPRING 2010 COMPETITION INFORMATION

Competition Dates – 11th October, 2010 - 24th January, 2011. (12 week competition)

• Game Times - Mon nights between 6.15 and 8.30pm.

• Location    -    Hickey Park -  Barbarra St, Stafford. 

Competition Costs

• All Teams must have a minimum of 10 players Paid & Registered
• $95 / player if paid BEFORE ROUND 1 (11th Oct)
• $100 / player if paid between Rounds 1 - 4
• $110 / player if paid after Round 4

Team Registration

• Step 1 - Team delegates must complete team rego form linked at the bottom of the page where he/she
  must put in their own information and the names of all intending team members.  
  SPECIAL NOTE – if 12 or more players register the team delegate will be refunded their individual registration.
• Step 2 - You must have 5 players individually registered & paid by the 11th Oct.
• Step 3 - You must have ALL players paid & registered by WEEK 4. If any team does not meet this requirement, you will be allowed to play ROUND 5, however the game will be recorded as an automatic forfeit. If that team is still unfinancial at the conclusion of ROUND 5, that team will be suspended until all payments are paid in full.
  SPECIAL NOTE - If teams by ROUND 4 have less than 10 players, other team members must pay the shortfall.

Individual Registration

• Option 1 – We have an online registration service where you can pay by credit card at the bottom of this page. 
• Option 2 - In person at the registration nights on 27th Spet & 4th Oct (6-7:30pm) at the club house at Hickey Park in the Clubhouse.
• Option 3 – In person during the first 3 weeks of the competition at registration desk.

Registration Nights

• As previously stated registration nights will be the 27th Sept & 4th Nov, at the club house at Hickey Park from 6pm - 7:30pm.

Divisions

• Men's & Mixed competitions.

Australian Oztag Association Registration

• Australian Oztag Association fees are now included in each players registration fees.

Shorts

• Shorts cost $25 each and you must wear official Oztag shorts to participate in and QLD Oztag comeptition.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Competition Guidelines:

1. Registration forms must be completed in full and signed by round 4 (incl rego numbers).  Full payment must be paid on or before round 4 NO EXCEPTIONS. Teams will not be able to play the next round. Your opposition in Round 5 will be notified next day that they have received a forfeit.
2. Every player must sign sign on sheets before the game commences each week.  Any players that don’t sign on are not covered by insurance.  If a minimum of 5 players don’t sign on your team will forfeit the game.
3. Players must have signed on for at least 5 games to qualify to play in Semi Finals.
4. All injuries must be reported on the night of the injury.
5. Any shorts or tights that are worn must be the official Oztag garments (no home made shorts or tights).  Players are not allowed to take the field if regulation shorts or tights are not worn.
6. There will be no talking to the referee at all unless you are the captain.  This includes sledging of the opposition or of your own teams.  This is a major offence and may result in a player or team being sent off or banned.
7. No football boots with screw in studs (metal, nylon or spikes) are permitted.
8. Photographs of players may appear on our website or in publicity campaigns, should you not want your photograph to appear then you must contact us prior to registering.
9. All teams must be playing in the same colour shirt by round 4.  Numbers must also be visible on the back or sleeve of these shirts.
10. Any player fighting will be given 8 weeks minimum and their team will be given one week suspension.
11. Any player found guilty of racial vilification will receive a minimum suspension of 8 weeks and will be suspended permanently for a second offence from playing in any Queensland Oztag competition.
12. The competition reserves the right to re-grade any team at anytime.

Replacement or Fill-in Player:

In the event of a team being short of players the team may choose to do one of the following:

• You can choose to play with a minimum of 5 players to avoid a forfeit.
• You can have a FILL IN player if you are short on any particular night but he must pay $10 and wear official Oztag shorts and complete a registration form for insurance purposes. This only applies if you have already got 10 players paid up in up in full.
• You can choose a player from another team playing in the competition but this will be an automatic 5-1 loss.
• Fillin's cannot play in Finals unless they have played at least 5 games and are prepared to pay the remainder of the cost of the season registration.

NB If a team is found to have knowingly played a "fill in" without meeting these guidelines the team will receive a 1 match suspension for the following round. Multiple offences will incur a $100 fine plus the match suspension.

Some teams may be re-graded after round 4.
